Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Helping the firm to optimize cash balances and ensuring risk exposure is properly managed. (Treasury management)
• Analyzing financial data for the firm to help the management decision-making process
• Liaise with entities such as banks to ensure proper cash and bank reconciliation
• Optimize usage of working capital for different departments
• Managing relationships with bank facilities and other sources of liquidity to support the company’s operations
• Financial budgeting and forecasting which includes cashflow management and projection of expenses
• Advising management on potential financial risks
• Assist in book-keeping and documentation of financial records
• Implementing and reviewing SOPs and internal control policies to ensure smooth operation of processes
• Other ad hoc assigned tasks
  

Required skills and competencies

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance/ Accounting preferred
• 1-3 experience in finance, with experience in a treasury related role, Big 4 or internal auditing preferred
• Ability to build financial models
• Knowledge of how to use accounting software (eg Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and well organized
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
• Knowledge in crypto would be a plus
